Strayer University was founded in 1892, and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The University has a history of serving working adults and the growing population of non-traditional students. The University includes Strayer@Work, which serves corporate clients by delivering the next generation of performance improvement and workforce development. Recently, Strayer Education acquired the New York Code + Design Academy which trains developers with hands-on workshops in web and mobile app development.
